"Adobe will no longer provide technical support and security updates for all versions of Adobe Acrobat and Reader 2015, including localized versions, on all operating systems," the company said.
The termination of support means that it will be possible to use the program, but vulnerability fixes will not be released. Adobe often releases patches for its range of software, including Flash, Reader, Acrobat, and others, and without these updates, users could put their systems at risk.

While private companies can often agree to provide extended software support for additional upgrade time, ordinary users should already upgrade to Adobe Acrobat DC and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC before the deadline to open PDF files safely in the future.
