The date is confirmed independently by two Google technical support staff. As expected, the new OS will appear on the Pixel 3 / 3XL, 3a / 3a XL models, as well as the Pixel 2/2 XL and even the Pixel and Pixel XL, which were released in 2016. The latter is especially nice, given the fact that branded smartphones from the search giant are supported for no more than two years.
In the new version, it is expected that there will be built-in support for devices with a flexible screen, 5G, a system-wide dark mode, as well as improved security and privacy features. In addition, “seamless” updates are expected, more application control, and so on.

It is not known exactly when smartphone manufacturers will begin to upgrade their models to the “top ten,” but this will certainly happen. The same Nokia is going to update almost the entire current lineup. Updates are planned for Samsung, Xiaomi and others.
