British parliamentarians forced to report on ties with Russia and China

Members of the British House of Lords of Parliament are planning to oblige to fully disclose their business contacts with partners in Russia and China.

“The step that some call the“ new cold war ”the government is proposing to introduce changes to the rules of the House of Lords in order to force members of the chamber to publicize the full range of their business interests with their Chinese and Russian partners,” The Sunday Times said.

Additionally, it is planned to introduce a law on espionage in order to fight foreign spies who work in banks and other UK business institutions. This law is aimed at simplifying the procedure of deportation from the UK of those who are suspected of espionage, even though they are in the country legally.
