This is stated in a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Canada, made public on the occasion of the opening of a conference on supporting reforms in Ukraine.
"Canada also carries out concrete actions against prolonged Russian aggression in Ukraine and condemns Russia's decision to issue Russian passports to Ukrainian citizens in the Donbas," the report said.
"Canada will take steps to ensure that these passports cannot be used to travel to Canada," the statement said.
Recall that the EU leaders at the summit in June expressed their readiness to consider further measures in response to the Russian issuance of citizenship to Ukrainians from the occupied areas of Donbass.

Kurt Walker, the special envoy of the US Department of State for Ukraine, said that the United States would consider the possibility of not recognizing Russian passports.
