EU may support Brexit new respite »GoGetNews news

The European Union can support the provision of London with a new deadline for the withdrawal of Britain from the EU if the British authorities are unable to approve its conditions before the current Brexit date – October 31. It is reported by The Times, referring to a high-ranking source in the European Union.

It is noted that at least 25 EU member states agree to provide the UK with a delay for a longer period.

"We do not want this, but we are going to provide them with a new reprieve. In the end, no one wants to be considered as the one who pulls the plug," the publication quotes the source.
