It is noted that all ads that will be published by users from Ukraine will be "systematically subjected to verification" – both automatically and manually. A similar process is also launched in Canada, and in the coming months in Singapore and Argentina.
In total, more than 50 countries are already included in the register, and soon another 4 countries will be added, where elections will be held soon.
Requirements for the publication of political advertising include, in particular, an indication of the full name of the person or the name of the organization that paid for it. This information will appear directly on the advertisement itself.

In addition, more detailed information about the ad, for example, viewing statistics, will be stored for seven years in a special archive Ad Library. Facebook assures that it is committed to transparency of information about advertisers, and also continues "the fight against foreign influence in elections in different countries of the world."
