Fatherhood can cause death – Scientists

Canadian experts from the University of Toronto warn: single fathers risk dying early. Lonely mothers and married men are not at risk of premature death.Experts monitored about 40,500 families for 11 years. As a rule, at the beginning of the study single parents were about 40 years old. By the end of the observation period, almost 700 people had died.

Compared to men who had wives and single mothers, the death rate was three times higher than single men.

In general, single fathers were older, had an increased level of cancer, were more prone to heart disease.

Before their due time, they were killed by a wrong lifestyle and stress (breaking with a partner or his death). Moreover, men are less likely to seek professional help from women.
