It looks like the new Tucson is currently undergoing transmission tests. This can explain the fact that the crossover, draped in tight camouflage, was forced to drag a heavy trailer. Most likely, we are seeing a version of the Tussan with a new 2.5-liter engine from the Theta3 family paired with an 8-speed automatic, and, according to preliminary data, the engine will have both an atmospheric modification and a turbocharged version that can develop up to 350 h.p.
In addition to this engine will be a 1.6-liter diesel engine for the European market and, possibly, a hybrid powerplant from Hyundai Sonata, providing 192 hp. power.

It will be hard to say how the new Tucson will look, for obvious reasons, but the company management promised that the car would turn out “stunning”. As for the possible date of the debut of the crossover, there is information that it will be rolled out to the public in the second half of 2020.
