According to the BBC, discussions are underway about holding early parliamentary elections. According to journalist Laura Kunsberg, a decision on this issue can be made no earlier than Wednesday. The publication suggests that plans for early elections may be discussed during an unscheduled meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, which Johnson decided to collect on September 2.

It is noted that some MPs from the Johnson Conservative Party may support the opposition Labor party in an attempt to stop Britain from leaving the EU without an agreement.
