Laser therapy for joints

With the onset of menopause appeared problems with the joints. Pain in the limbs, joint care, stiffness of movements brought discomfort. For the restoration of cartilage and mobility of the joints, chondroprotectors permeated for three years. This therapy lasted for 2-3 months. Then all the symptoms returned.

A month ago, I saw a ticker on the Internet in the news feed: “Center for Healthy Aesthetics Laser therapy of the joints. Through the online registry she made an appointment.

The first reception was in the form of consultation. The doctor ordered an examination. Then recommended to undergo a course of treatment of the joints with a laser. Assigned the maximum number – 12 physical procedures. Generally recommend from 10 to 12. The duration of the session is 60 minutes. On the site of the center I found the section "physiotherapy" I read everything, but the questions remained.

The leading specialist of the laser therapy center explained the essence of the procedure to me in detail. He began with the fact that self-healing of the joints is possible. But their regeneration is affected:

  • changes in the joints with age;
  • increased physical exertion;
  • excess weight;
  • heredity;
  • bad habits;
  • low motor activity.

In my case, there is no hope that the knee joints will recover by themselves. Hope remained only on the possibility of laser therapy.

As I was explained, laser therapy is a type of physiotherapy treatment. The advantages of the procedure include:

  • restoration of previously unrecoverable functions;
  • efficiency;
  • painlessness;
  • lack of rehabilitation period;
  • local impact.

The first session was held in the mode of irradiator sliding on the skin surface. When the pain diminished, irradiation was carried out with pressure, which increased the degree of penetration of the laser beam into the tissue. In the fourth procedure, dyes were used to increase the effectiveness of the procedure. One of them can definitely be called – green.

Neither after the fourth, nor after the sixth session did I feel any serious changes. Is that the pain has become weaker. Honestly, upset. Started to panic.

At the next appointment, the attending physician reminded me that there should be no immediate effect. It will be possible to talk about the benefits of treatment only after 12 sessions. The effect of the procedure is cumulative.

Toward the end of the treatment, my joints began to recover. The pain syndrome disappeared, puffiness and inflammatory processes decreased, the restoration of cartilage tissue began.

Now, after 2 weeks after the treatment, I can say with confidence that the laser therapy of the joints is an effective, painless, non-rehabilitative method. Try, I advise!

Important! Laser therapy does not cure articular diseases, but triggers a self-healing mechanism.
