Microsoft revealed the next generation Xbox | GoGetNews News

At the Game Awards of the Year, Microsoft first unveiled the design of its next-generation Xbox. The device is called the Xbox Series X. If the previous models were relatively flat, the Series X case, on the contrary, is surprisingly high, which resembles the case of a desktop computer. The console can be used both vertically and horizontally.

Xbox CEO Phil Spencer has promised that the new processor will be four times faster than the Xbox One X, the most powerful console on the market right now. According to Spencer, the Xbox Series X produces less noise than the previous model. Thanks to the use of the NVMe SSD hard drive, the loading time in games will be faster than in the previous generation of the console. The device will also support games in 8K resolution. The Series X gamepad has also been updated – on the controller there is a separate button for taking screenshots and video with the gameplay, like the PS4.

The console is due out at the end of 2020.
