This is stated in the report of the project operator, the company Nord Stream 2 AG, published by the Energy Agency of Denmark.
The application for laying the pipeline along the third route to the south of the Danish island of Bornholm Nord Stream 2 submitted to the Danish authorities on April 15. Public hearings in Denmark on the third route of the pipeline will be held on June 19.
“Permits were issued in Sweden, Germany, Finland and Russia. Construction onshore and offshore construction began in 2018 in all four of the above-mentioned countries, and the pipeline is currently under construction in German, Swedish and Finnish waters. It is planned that the pipeline will be completed and ready for gas transportation during the second half of 2020, ”the report attached to the application says.
At first, Nord Stream 2 AG planned to complete the construction of two gas lines by the end of 2019. In late April, Gazprom talked about plans to complete the construction of two lines in 2019.

Earlier, the Danish Energy Agency asked the operator of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline project an additional environmental assessment of the main route of the gas pipeline, to the south of Bornholm.
In Nord Stream 2 AG, the operator of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline, it was acknowledged that these Danish actions could delay the completion of the project.
In Denmark, it is said that the analysis of the environmental impact of the route of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline project may take several months.
