PlayStation 4 no longer integrates with Facebook »GoGetNews News

Sony has announced that it is completely abandoning Facebook integration on the PS4. The corporation does not say anything about the reasons, but the console has supported the social network since the release in November 2013.

Owners of the console and active users of Facebook are waiting for several major changes:

– Users will no longer be able to publish screenshots, videos, trophies, music and broadcasts directly from PS4 to Facebook;

– removed the ability to add friends from Facebook;

– if you used an image from Facebook as your PSN avatar, you have to upload it in another way – through the console settings or through the mobile application.

The refusal of integration took place literally a few hours before the release of firmware 7.0 for PS4, in which a new “Hangout” (up to 16 people with improved sound and connection) and the ability to stream games on Android will appear.
