Poland is unlikely to come out of the European Union

European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker stated that Poland is unlikely to leave the EU, even if the Euro-skeptic Party Law and Justice wins re-election this year.He made such a statement in an interview, reports Reuters.

A Polish journalist asked Juncker if he considers Polexit likely after parliamentary elections.

“Not. Poland is with us (with the EU), because we have common values, ”said the head of the European Commission.

The Law and Justice Party has been in conflict with the European Commission since 2016 due to the policy of the Polish authorities regarding the courts in the country. Most EU countries support the European Commission in this dispute.

In addition, the party is dissatisfied with the environmental and migration policies of the European Union.

This gives the opposition grounds to say that Law and Justice will eventually lead Poland out of the EU.
