Last Friday, Samsung began accepting pre-orders for a folding Galaxy Fold smartphone in the US for $ 1980 (53 thousand hryvnia). The first batch was limited and soon stopped accepting pre-orders with the explanation that the demand for the smartphone was large and users will be notified of the arrival of the next batch.
However, a way to buy a Galaxy Fold was found without a reserve and a long wait. One of the developers of the XDA Developers community has revealed the official Samsung page where you can place a purchase directly.
The page allows you to select T-Mobile or AT & T operators and pay a 24-month contract at $ 82.5 per month. According to the source, the operators only 4,5 thousand devices each, that is, the entire original lot for the US is 9 thousand devices.
Earlier, T-Mobile announced that smartphone shipments will begin on April 25th. In Europe, April 26 must begin to take pre-orders, and direct sales start on May 3.
