Trump accused Jews of "disloyalty" because they vote for Democrats

US President Donald Trump has criticized American Jews, saying that they demonstrate "huge disloyalty" when they vote for Democrats, not Republicans.

The head of the White House said that US Jews demonstrate "either a complete lack of knowledge, or a huge disloyalty." He later explained what he meant. According to Trump, voting for the Democrats is a manifestation of "disloyalty to the Jewish people and Israel."

Democratic candidate leader Joe Biden called the incumbent's words "offensive and unforgivable."

A number of Jewish organizations also denounced the words of the head of the White House.
