The Chinese manufacturer has officially announced that it will begin to fight advertising in its shell and significantly reduce its display. According to Android Police, the most accessible flagship Pocophone F1 is simply “teeming” with ads in MIUI – it is shown to users in settings, notifications and embedded applications. It is clear that in this way the company compensates affordable prices for their devices.

Xiaomi acknowledged that the demonstration of promo and banners is too intrusive at MIUI and promises to reduce their number in the near future. Moreover, when studying the data of the next firmware, the XDA resource found pleasant changes in the direction of reducing advertising:
